The Traffic Marshal (Banksman) Course is essential for individuals working in construction, security, manufacturing, hospitality, parking enforcement, or those responsible for vehicle loading, unloading, and movement.

 Course Overview:

This qualification provides a fundamental understanding of key terms, legal responsibilities, and the importance of good health and safety practices when working as a Traffic Marshal. Trainees will learn about traffic risk assessments and the use of personal protective equipment.

Learner requirements:

 No formal entry requirements are needed, but learners should have a sufficient level of literacy to engage with the teaching materials and complete the assessment.

Assessment

After the training, learners will be assessed by one of our assessors or trainers, with results provided on the same day.

Certification:

Successful candidates will receive a Traffic Banksman Certificate and a digital ID card (passport-sized photograph and photo ID required). An optional Traffic Marshal/Banksman ID badge with lanyard and card holder is available for an additional fee of £20.
